Your body has many, many small ‘stabilizer‘ muscle groups. These muscles help your bigger muscle groups, which are called ‘agonist’, to perform better, have better balance and in essence make everything work more smoothly.
Here are a sequence of exercises you can do to first work on balance, then a few footwork coordination drills where the correct movements are the most important detail. The sequence finishes off with some core stabilizer workouts.
